Do you write long and cut, or short and backfill?
Philosophers pride themselves on short, clear and succinct work. I long to write a really fat book but I'm afraid of adjectives (and adverbs.) I try to backfill them in but then lose courage and take them out again.
How do you feel about your Wikipedia entry?
What Wikipedia entry?
Lunch with any three people who ever lived; who do you invite?
Aristotle, Jane Austen and my father.
Best piece of advice you ever received?
Floss.
Title of the book you're probably never going to write, but would kind of like to get around to?
Muddling Through
What are you so afraid of?
As I said, adjectives (and adverbs.)
