Taline Voskeritchian

Taline Voskeritchian was born in Jerusalem, educated in Lebanon, Jordan, and the United States, and teaches at Boston University. She has also taught at the American University of Armenia, Yerevan. In April 2011, as part of the international delegation of writers to the Palestine Festival of Literature, she conducted writing/translation workshops in Palestinian universities. Her prose and translations have appeared in London Review of Books, The Nation, Agni, Book Forum, Words Without Borders, The Daily  Star/International Herald Tribune (Beirut), Journal of Palestine Studies, Alik (Tehran), Ahegan (Beirut), Warwick Review (UK), artsMedia  (Boston), the radio program On Being, the on-line journals Jadaliyya, HowlRound, The Common, Bangalore Review, The Transnational (Berlin), among other venues. She is co-producer of Vahe Oshagan: Between Acts, a documentary on the modernist Armenian poet Vahe Oshagan, to which she also contributed as translator. The film has screened in Beirut, Yerevan, Paris, Lisbon, New York City and Los Angeles. She has presented papers at international conferences organized by the MLA (Lisbon, 2019), and by the UCLA Modern Armenian History Program (Los Angeles, 2012).
