Mansoor Khan has been a researcher, an organizer and activist for over 20 years. Currently he is a strategic campaigner in the Service Employee International Union’s Public Services Division, where he works to organizing faculty. Prior to his work at SEIU, Khan was the Assistant Director of Strategic Research at 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East where he led many successful corporate social responsibility campaigns. He got his start in social justice at the University of Rochester as a student activist in alt-globalization movement in the late nineties. He has a graduate degree in theoretical mathematics but has never once used his mathematical training in real life. He is based in Los Angeles.
