Brendan Clarke

Brendan Clarke is an educator, naturalist, and writer. He has spent nearly a decade engaged in alternative education, including nature-based, community education. Whether mentoring youth, guiding groups in the wilderness, or teaching in a public school, his work is driven by the call for a cultural scale shift in response to these times. He is dedicated to the restoration of healthy relationship, especially between humans and the Earth, and humans with each other. He is a student, lover, and protector of water and the wild and he can often be found at the edge of water, scratching his head and peering down at animal tracks in the mud. He currently teaches writing, Iyengar yoga, wildlife tracking, nature connection, and bird language. He lives in Sonoma County, California.
