Alan Kennedy has owned race horses in the US and France since the 1970s. He is a widely published author in the field of historic East Asian costumes and textiles, and as an art dealer he has sold numerous works of art to museums and collectors in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. He has also lectured at museums and learned societies, and recently curated and led a cultural tour in Japan.
