Tom's Book Club: James Ellroy

For the fifth installment of Tom's Book Club, Tom Lutz, founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles Review of Books, has chosen James Ellroy's Perfidia (Knopf, September 2014). This epic, 700+ page novel by the "demon dog of American crime fiction" is an awe-inspiring vision of social, moral, and human chaos in wartime Los Angeles.

Our Facebook discussion group will begin on Monday, December 1st. On December 6th, we will host a live discussion between Tom Lutz and James Ellroy at Emerson College Los Angeles. The event is open to the public and Book Club members are guaranteed entry and premium seating with RSVP. Become a Tom’s Book Club member by November 15th to receive your copy of Perfidia.
