    Are we doing the right thing?*










    Robert Walser understood.


    He wanted to be microscopic like


    handwriting. Berlin was a fiasco but


    before they captured him he walked


    into breezes, loving the forest, his


    sturdy boots oiled and scuffed with mud. 




    * The question that Robert Walser asked his sister Lisa in 1929, before his commitment to the Waldau asylum.
