William F. Touponce

William F. Touponce is Professor of English at Indiana University (Indianapolis), in the Institute for American Thought. He is the author of several critical studies on science fiction authors (including Frank Herbert and Isaac Asimov, in addition to three books on Ray Bradbury) and is editor of The New Ray Bradbury Review, published by Kent State University Press. In 2007 he co-founded The Center for Ray Bradbury Studies, establishing the Review and then The Collected Stories of Ray Bradbury (the first volume of which was released in 2010) as ongoing collaborative scholarly projects concerned with the legacy of Bradbury's writings. He is currently writing for The Scarecrow Press a study of the tradition of storytelling in modern fantasy in the works of Lord Dunsany, H.P. Lovecraft, Bradbury, and Thomas Ligotti.
