Nataliya Karageorgos

Nataliya Karageorgos is assistant professor of the Practice in the Department of Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at Wesleyan University. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature from the Graduate Center, CUNY, in 2019. Her article “‘A List of Some Observations’: The Theory and Practice of Depersonalization in T. S. Eliot and Joseph Brodsky” received the Best 2020 Slavic and East European Journal Article award. She is currently working on a book manuscript, Forbidden Attraction: Russian Poets Read T. S. Eliot During the Cold War. Her scholarly interests include Russian and Anglo-American poetry, theory of the lyric, links between Russian and American literature, Modernism, contemporary Russian literature, and Cold War studies.
