Michael Merriam

Michael Merriam is an archaeologist whose work focuses on ancient toys, the history of games, and folkloric children’s literature. He lives in Los Angeles, on the 13th floor of a tower overlooking the La Brea tar pits. From there he maintains Pyrite Radio, his online museum. He is currently writing a book on toy archaeology, and a translation of The Canterbury Tales.
