Manash Firaq Bhattacharjee is a poet, writer, occasional translator and political science scholar from Jawaharlal Nehru University. His writings have appeared in the New York TimesLos Angeles Review of BooksGuernicaThe London Magazine, New Welsh ReviewRattle3:AM MagazineMudlarkMetamorphosesModern Poetry in TranslationOutlook, the HinduEconomic and Political Weekly, the Wire, etc. His first collection of poetry, Ghalib's Tomb and Other Poems (2013), was published by The London Magazine. He has contributed to Words Matter: Writings Against Silence (Penguin, 2016) and India Dissents3,000 Years of Difference, Doubt and Argument (Speaking Tiger, 2017). He teaches poetry at Ambedkar University, New Delhi.
