Jeneva Stone

Jeneva Stone’s poetry, nonfiction, and academic work have all focused on themes and images involving both the gendered and disabled body, the conceptual relationship between body and text, and the aesthetics of disability and writing. Her nonfiction has been recognized by fellowships from the MacDowell and Millay colonies, and she is currently at work on a memoir about her family’s 14-year search for a diagnosis for her disabled son. Ms. Stone holds a PhD in Renaissance literature from Columbia University and an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College.
