Arielle Zibrak

Arielle Zibrak is assistant professor of English, adjunct assistant professor of Gender and Women’s Studies, and director of the UW Casper Honors Program. She joined the faculty at the University of Wyoming in 2014 and teaches courses in American and British literature and theories of literature, aesthetics, gender, and sexuality. Her research focuses on the 19th-century rise of reform literature and the various ways in which transatlantic reform was contested on both political and aesthetic grounds. Other interests include American women writers, gender and sexuality studies, the fin de siècle, aesthetic theory, and the relationship between art and politics more broadly. She also serves on the Executive Board of the International Edith Wharton Society and the Advisory Board of the Rebecca Harding Davis online archive.
