Ulrich Baer

Ulrich Baer teaches literature and photography as University Professor at New York University. A recipient of Guggenheim, Getty and Humboldt fellowships, he has published in the New York Times and the New York Review of Books, in addition to new editions of classic works by Defoe, Shelley, Brontë, Wilde, Nietzsche, Rilke, Conrad, Fitzgerald, Woolf, and others. His recent books are What Snowflakes Get Right: Free Speech, Equality, and Truth on Campus (Oxford UP, 2019), The Love Collection (Warbler Press, 2019), and Fictions of America: The Book of Firsts (Warbler Press, 2020).
