Tom Benedek

Screenwriter and visual artist Tom Benedek wrote Cocoon and other films. He teaches screenwriting at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where he is a James Gindin Visiting Artist. Tom’s photography can be viewed at tombenedek.com. His photograph "Dirty Book" was the artwork that accompanied Ben Ehrenreich's essay "The Death of the Book" which launched LARB on April 18, 2011. His first novel, Peloponnesia, has just been published.
