Paul Strassfield

Paul Strassfield earned a PhD in clinical social work from New York University (NYU), specializing in working with children and adolescents. He works near Times Square for the New York City Department of Education, coordinating a program for the most fragile emotionally disturbed youth, classified in special education. He loves his work, but enjoys reading and writing, especially book reviews. Paul lives in Water Mill, New York, with his wife, Christina, a museum director and curator, and their three children: Zoe, an archaeological fellow at NYU, Joseph, headed for SUNY at Geneseo, recruited for track as a sprinter, and his twin, Peter, appointed to the United States Military Academy, West Point, recruited as a heavyweight wrestler.
