Michael P. Daley writes about crime and cultural history. His newest book is Bobby BlueJacket: The Tribe, The Joint, The Tulsa Underworld. Award-winning author and poet Ron Padgett called the book a “fascinating and richly detailed biography” and “an intimate portrait of [a] complex emotional and intellectual life.” Daley's previous books include Enjoy The Experience: Homemade Records 1958–1992, which was featured in BBC, NPR, Vice, Book Forum, Rolling Stone, and was called the greatest music book of the year by Los Angeles Magazine. As an editor, he has contributed to books such as Flying Saucers Are Real! and Houston Rap Tapes.
