Matt Burriesci worked at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) between 1999–2011, during which time he performed nearly every job, including Acting Executive Director (2009–2010). He began his career at the Tony Award–winning Chicago Shakespeare Theater and is presently executive director of the Providence Athenaeum.
