Mary Raffan

Mary Raffan studied and worked as a tutor at The University of Edinburgh. Her research has focused on representations and reinterpretations of the notion of authorship in modern and postmodern literature. Her PhD thesis, Joyce, Philosophy and the Drama of Authorship, examined the prominence and hermeneutical consequence of the question of authorship in the work of James Joyce. She currently lives in Edinburgh and works in libraries promoting literacy and community engagement.
