Justin Hughes is the Honorable William M Byrne Distinguished Professor at Loyola Law School, where he teaches international trade and intellectual property courses. He served in the Obama Administration as the United States’s chief negotiator for two recent multilateral treaties and, less recently, has done democracy development work in El Salvador, Haiti, Mali, Albania, and Bosnia.
