Jessie Tu is a Taiwanese-Australian writer and journalist. She studied writing at Kenyon College and the Summer Writing Festival at the University of Iowa. Her first book of poems was published in March 2018. Her writing has appeared in the Guardian, The Age, South China Morning Post, and other places. In 2018, she was a resident writer at Atlantic Center for the Arts in Florida. Her debut novel, A Lonely Girl is a Dangerous Thing, will be published in June 2019 by Allen & Unwin.
