Dr. Javier Trevino-Rangel
Dr. Javier Trevino-Rangel is Assistant Professor in Cátedras CONACYT/Drug Policy Program at the Center of Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Aguascalientes City, Mexico. He holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and a PhD in Sociology from the London School of Economics. Javier’s research interests include: (a) transitional justice; (b) gross human rights violations and the policing of drug policies; (c) abuses perpetrated against undocumented migrants in Mexico in the context of the war on drugs; (d) and public responses to knowledge about atrocity in Mexico’s war on drugs.
