Marsha Gordon is a professor of Film Studies at North Carolina State University. With the support of a National Humanities Center Fellowship and an NEH Public Scholar Award, she is writing a new book, Leftover Ladies: Ursula Parrott and the Reinvention of the Modern Woman.&nbsp; She is the author, most recently, of Film Is Like a Battleground: Sam Fuller’s War Movies (Oxford University Press, 2017) and co-editor of Screening Race in American Nontheatrical Film (Duke University Press, 2019).
