Amy Parish

Dr. Amy Parish is a primatologist and leading expert on the social and sexual behavior of one of our closest living relatives, the bonobo. She teaches and mentors young human primates from high school through graduate school at La Jolla Country Day School in San Diego and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Her work has been featured in Ms. Magazine and she has appeared on Nova, National Geographic Explorer, NPR, and Discovery Health Channel. She is a fellow of the Los Angeles Institute for the Humanities. She works to make the world a better place by sharing ideas, expanding horizons and bridging disciplines.
