Virginia Morell

Virginia Morell is a prolific contributor to National Geographic, Science, and Smithsonian, among other publications. She is the author of Animal Wise; Ancestral Passions: The Leakey Family and the Quest for Humankind’s Beginnings, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year; Blue Nile: Ethiopia’s River of Magic and Mystery; and co-authored Wildlife Wars: My Fight to Save Africa’s Natural Treasures with Richard Leakey.
