Sophie Calle

Sophie Calle is an internationally recognized French artist whose work incorporates photography, performance, and writing. Recently she has had solo exhibitions at such places as Palais de Tokyo in Paris and Whitechapel Art Gallery in London. Calle was the 2010 recipient of the Hasselblad Award for Photography. Her books include: The Address Book (2012) Sophie Calle: The Reader (2009). Take Care of Yourself (2007) Sophie Calle: Double Game (2007), Appointment with Sigmund Freud (2005), Exquisite Pain (2005) and Sophie Calle: Did you see me? (2004). Since 2005, she has been a professor of film and photography at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. Calle lives in Paris.
