Sarah Schulman

Sarah Schulman is a Fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities at New York University. A novelist, journalist, and playwright, Schulman is also Distinguished Professor at College of Staten Island and at the City University of New York. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Nation, and Interview. She is the 2009 recipient of the Kessler Prize for sustained contribution to LGBT studies.
