Robert Vivian

Robert Vivian is an essayist, poet, playwright, and short story writer who grew up in the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha. He holds a PhD in English from University of Nebraska, Lincoln. His essays have been included in the list of Notable Essays in Best American Essays for the years 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005. His most recent book is The Least Cricket of Evening. He is an assistant professor of English at Alma College in Michigan.
