Robert Spoo

Robert Spoo is the Chapman Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Tulsa. He has a PhD in English from Princeton University, and was professor of English at University of Tulsa and editor of the James Joyce Quarterly. While chasing rights to Joyce’s letters and other writing for scholarly purposes, he became interested in intellectual property law, and pursued a law degree at Yale University, where he was executive editor of The Yale Law Journal. He clerked for Sonia Sotomayor and practiced law in New York, California, and Oklahoma before returning to teaching.
