Mark Bould

Mark Bould teaches at the University of the West of England and co-edits Science Fiction Film and Television. He is the author, co-author and co-editor of books on John Sayles, film noir and science fiction, including Red Planets: Marxism and Science Fiction (2009) with China Miéville, and The Routledge Concise History of Science Fiction (2011) with Sherryl Vint. His Science Fiction: The Routledge Film Guidebook was published in 2012. He has recently become enamoured of the Sonora desert, and the wild things that come from there. Ironically, it was back when his life was more interesting that his bio contained completely spurious claims.
