Joshua Clover

Joshua Clover is a Professor of English Literature at University of California Davis. He is currently at work on a book tentatively entitled Capital Poetics, bringing together the study of poetry with contemporary political economy, and finishing a poetry collection called Tranche/Syntagma.

"Each poem, I think, wants its own solutions to problems, and each historical moment wants its own solutions to problems, and each culture wants its own solutions to problems, and each person and each couple trying to resolve their issues – everything wants its own solutions to problems."

- Joshua Clover
