Jonathan M. Katz

Jonathan M. Katz is a former Associated Press correspondent and editor. The only full-time American news correspondent stationed in Haiti during the January 2010 earthquake, he was awarded the 2010 Medill Medal for Courage in Journalism and the 2012 J. Anthony Lukas Work-In-Progress Award. Katz has also reported from Washington, Mexico City, Santo Domingo, New York, Jerusalem, and the United Nations. He is the recipient of a National Headliners Award and was a finalist for the Livingston Award and Michael Kelly Award for the "fearless pursuit and expression of truth."
