Helen Wan is an author and lawyer. Her debut novel, THE PARTNER TRACK (Macmillan), is the story of a young Chinese-American woman competing for partnership at a prestigious law firm, and how 'outsider' status complicates the journey up the corporate ladder. She has written for The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, and other publications, and is a frequent speaker on diversity in corporate America. She practiced law for many years before becoming a novelist, at corporate law firms and as in-house counsel at the Time Inc. division of Time Warner Inc.
