David Schickler

David Schickler is a screenwriter living in New York and is the author, most recently, of The Dark Path: A Memoir. He wrote the novels Kissing In Manhattan and Sweet and Vicious, and has also written scripts for Universal Pictures, Lionsgate Films, Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, and Wildwood Films. His stories have appeared in The New Yorker, and Zoetrope, as well as on Selected Shorts. His short story “The Smoker” won an O. Henry Award, and was optioned by Paramount Pictures.
