Wayétu Moore is the founder of One Moore Book, a nonprofit publisher that encourages reading among children of countries with low literacy rates and underrepresented cultures. She is a graduate of Howard University, Columbia University, and the University of Southern California. Her novel She Would Be King was published in 2018. She teaches at the City University of New York’s John Jay College and lives in Brooklyn.
