Tove Jansson

Tove Marika Jansson was a Finnish novelist, painter and illustrator. Her Moomin books have sold in the millions and have been translated into 44 languages. She received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1966. Finland celebrated the centenary of her birth in 2014.
