Silvina Ocampo

Silvina Ocampo was born in Buenos Aires in 1903. She was a prolific writer who published many books of poetry, fiction, and children’s stories over a career spanning 50 years. Ocampo is known for her literary acquaintances, among them Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, and Alejandra Pizarnik.
