Roisin Kelly was born in Belfast, raised in Leitrim, and currently lives in Cork City. Her poetry has appeared in POETRY, The Stinging Fly, The Dark Horse, and Best New British and Irish Poets 2016 (Eyewear 2016). In 2016 her work was shortlisted for the Hennessy New Irish Writing Award and published in The Irish Times, and she was selected for the Poetry Ireland Introductions Series. Rapture is Roisin's first chapbook and has been described by poet Leanne O’Sullivan as “fierce and mysterious, beautiful and compelling.” Her website is www.roisinkelly.com.
