Perrin Selcer is an associate professor of History at the University of Michigan and the director of the Science, Technology, and Society Program. He is the author of The Postwar Origins of the Global Environment: How the United Nations Built Spaceship Earth. His research has also appeared in Historical Social Research, the British Journal for the History of Science, and elsewhere.
