Nick Srnicek

Nick Srnicek is an American writer and academic. He is the author of Inventing the Future: Postcapitalism and a World Without Work (Verso, 2015), with Alex Williams, and Platform Capitalism (Polity, 2016), and is currently a lecturer in Digital Economy at King’s College London.

The Rivera Book Prize aims to provide a platform that showcases the emerging literary talent of the Chicanx/Latinx community, to cultivate the next generation of Chicanx/Latinx writers, and to continue the rich literary memory of Tomás Rivera, Chicano author, poet, activist, and educator.
