Miranda July is an American artist, writer, and filmmaker. Her body of work is interdisciplinary in scope and includes film, fiction, monologue, digital media presentations, and live performance art. She wrote, directed and starred in the films Me and You and Everyone We Know and The Future. Her most recent book, It Chooses You, was published in 2011.
