Michelle Alexander

Michelle Alexander is a highly acclaimed civil rights lawyer, advocate, and legal scholar. Alexander has been featured in national radio and television media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, NPR, C-SPAN, Bill Moyers Journal, The Colbert Report, Real Time with Bill Maher, Tavis Smiley, and Washington Journal, among others. Formerly the director of the ACLU’s Racial Justice Project in Northern California, Alexander served as a law clerk for US Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun. She lives in Ohio.
