Michael Harris was a reporter and editor for several West Coast newspapers, including the Long Beach Press-Telegram, the Riverside Press-Enterprise, and the Los Angeles Times. He has an MFA from the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop and reviewed books for the Times for more than 20 years. Now retired, he has written four novels of his own and is working on a fifth. He lives in Long Beach.
