Matt Seybold is assistant professor of American Literature and Mark Twain Studies at Elmira College. His research focuses on the intersection of economic rhetoric, mass media, and literary culture, particularly during periods of financial crisis. He is co-editor of the forthcoming Routledge Companion to Literature & Economics. Recent writing can be found in the Mark Twain Annual, T. S. Eliot Studies Annual, Henry James Review, and Reception.
