Gabe Soria

Gabe Soria is the writer of the graphic novel Murder Ballads, which draws upon his over two decades of experience as a music journalist. He has contributed extensively to Mojo magazine; written stories for DC Comics’s Batman ’66; co-authored Life Sucks, a graphic novel about vampires for First Second Books; and penned liner notes for Dr. John’s Grammy Award–winning record Locked Down, among other things. He is also the author of the Midnight Arcade series of books, which will be released in 2018 by Penguin Workshop. He lives in New Orleans, where he is working on new tales in the music noir world of Murder Ballads.
