Danièle Huillet

Danièle Huillet (19362006) made over 20 films between 1963 and 2006 with Jean-Marie Straub (b. 1933), all of them based on, or responding to, material in other genres (poetry, music, letters) or other films. Among their best-known works are Mosesund Aron (1975), Fortini/Cani (1976), From the Clouds to the Resistance (1979), and Sicilia! (1999).
