Andrew Keen is currently the executive director of the Silicon Valley salon-style discussion series FutureCast. He is also the host of a long-running show on TechCrunch, a columnist for CNN, and a regular commentator on all things digital. He is the author of The Cult of the Amateur, which has been published in 17 languages. His most recent book is The Internet Is Not the Answer.

The Rivera Book Prize aims to provide a platform that showcases the emerging literary talent of the Chicanx/Latinx community, to cultivate the next generation of Chicanx/Latinx writers, and to continue the rich literary memory of Tomás Rivera, Chicano author, poet, activist, and educator.
