Ana Lucia Araujo

Ana Lucia Araujo is a Brazilian-born writer and professor of history at Howard University. She has worked extensively on the history and memory of the global slave trade, and has authored and edited some dozen books on the subject, including Public Memory of Slavery: Victims and Perpetrators in the South Atlantic (2010), Shadows of the Slave PastMemory, Heritage, and Slavery (2014), and Reparations for Slavery and the Slave Trade (2017).
