Álvaro Enrigue is a Mexican writer based in New York City. He studied journalism in Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and obtained his PhD in Latin American Literature at the University of Maryland. He teaches creative writing in Spanish at Princeton University and has been a visiting lecturer in the Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures at Columbia University.
