Ali Eteraz grew up in the Caribbean, South Asia, and the American South. His debut novel, Native Believer, was published by Akashic, on May 3, 2016. He is the author of the short story collection Falsipedies and Fibsiennes (Guernica Ed. 2014) and stories in storySouth, Chicago Quarterly Review, and Forge Journal. He also wrote the memoir Children of Dust (HarperCollins, 2009). Eteraz is a member of the San Francisco Writer’s Grotto.
